Alert Notification – Burglary
Wednesday, September 9, 2009, one apartment of a duplex on the 2500 block of Post was burglarized at approximately 10 am. Entrance was through the back alley and through a wooden privacy fence gate that is typically latched but was open. Entrance to the apartment was through the back window that may have been unlocked. A laptop and cash and change were reported stolen.
At the time of the burglary, a neighbor was working in the front yard next door and the tenant of the other apartment of the duplex was home. Both heard noises but did not believe anything out of the ordinary was occurring. No suspects were witnessed.
